Continental Europe

During the MBA Career Tour: Continental Europe you will visit campuses of the largest European business schools and universities, based in Spain, Italy, France and Switzerland.

The first European business schools appeared in the late 50s of the 20-th century. Actually, it did not take them long to offer an alternative to the American model of business education.

The European model of business education is carved with regard to the needs of employers who seek to attract young, proactive, strong-willed and creative people to hold leadership positions.

The student body of European MBA programmes is more diverse due to the number of foreign students totaling 85%. Furthermore, the program duration (i.e., 10-15 months) enables students to get back to the labour market sooner vs. the US model.

If earlier it was primarily consulting companies that preferred hiring European b-school graduates, today they are largely sought for by financial and investment corporations, banks, as well as telecom and industrial enterprises.
The largest global companies annually compete for such professionals. It happens quite often that the ratio between European b-school alumni and employers is about 1:3 or 1:5.
